Privacy without surveillance.
Nesaroa uses limited, aggregate analytics to learn whether the public beta is useful. We do not use advertising cookies or build profiles of individual visitors. If you create an account, we also process the information needed for sign-in, email choices, and beta feedback.
What we collect
When analytics is enabled, Plausible records the page path, referring site, chosen language, broad device and browser information, approximate country, and named actions such as starting or completing the capture exercise. If you use an account, Supabase processes your email address, user ID, and sign-in activity; Nesaroa stores your language, email choices and their timestamps, and the feedback you submit with its page context and status.
What we do not send
We do not send URL query strings or fragments, board inputs, game records, player names, free-form text, email addresses, account data, or persistent visitor identifiers to analytics.
Why we collect it
We use analytics totals to find broken journeys, understand which lessons are useful, and decide what to improve during the beta. Account data provides secure sign-in, remembers your email choices, and lets us receive and respond to feedback. We do not use this information for advertising or sell it.
How long we keep it
Aggregate analytics are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted or reduced to non-event summaries. Railway may keep server logs for up to 90 days, depending on the hosting plan, for security and reliability. Account, preference, and feedback data is kept while your beta account is active or until it is no longer needed for these purposes, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Who receives it
Railway hosts the site. Plausible processes the limited analytics data described above when analytics is enabled. Supabase provides account authentication and stores account, preference, and feedback data. No advertising networks receive it.
Your choice
An account is optional. You can change every optional email choice from your account. Your language choice is also saved in your browser. Analytics is cookieless, does not follow you across sites, and can be blocked without losing the lesson. Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and feedback data.
